Venue Policies

Insurance Requirements
All couples must provide proof of event liability insurance (minimum $1M coverage) at least 30 days prior to the event. We're happy to recommend preferred insurance providers.
Weather Guarantee
Rose Howard Estate offers multiple indoor and covered outdoor spaces. In the event of inclement weather, our team will seamlessly transition your celebration to our covered veranda or grand interior spaces at no additional charge.
Event Hours
Standard events conclude by 11:00 PM. Extended hours are available until 1:00 AM for an additional fee. All music must end 30 minutes before event conclusion per local ordinance.
Sound & Music
Live bands and DJs are welcome. Outdoor amplified music permitted until 10:00 PM; indoor music until event end. We provide a preferred DJ list familiar with our acoustics.
Catering Policy
We maintain an exclusive catering partnership with three award-winning caterers who know our kitchens intimately. This ensures seamless service and the highest quality cuisine. All six kitchens are available for your event.
Parking & Transportation
Complimentary parking for 150 vehicles on-site. Valet service available. We strongly recommend shuttle service from local hotels for events over 150 guests. Rideshare staging area provided.
Guest Capacity
Maximum 400 guests for full estate events. Intimate gatherings start at 30 guests. All guest counts must be finalized 21 days prior. Children under 5 are complimentary.
Payment Terms
50% deposit required to secure your date. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to event. Payment plans available for qualifying events. All major credit cards accepted.

Rose Howard Estate offers multiple covered ceremony and reception spaces including our grand veranda, covered courtyard pavilion, and 5,000 sq ft climate-controlled ballroom. Every outdoor ceremony has a designated covered backup that maintains the elegance and photography opportunities of your original vision. Our event team monitors weather closely and makes backup decisions 48 hours in advance.
We recommend booking 12-18 months in advance for peak season dates (April-June, September-October). We only host 36 weddings annually to ensure each couple receives our complete attention. Popular Saturday dates in peak season often book 18-24 months ahead.
We require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 90 days before your event. We accept wire transfer, certified check, or credit card (3% processing fee applies). Payment plans are available for bookings made 12+ months in advance.
Our estate accommodates intimate gatherings of 50 guests up to grand celebrations of 400+. The Grand Courtyard seats 400 for dinner, the Poolside Terrace accommodates 250, and our covered veranda provides an intimate setting for 150. We work with you to design the perfect flow for your guest count.
We work with a preferred list of six exceptional caterers who know our kitchens intimately. While not exclusive, we strongly recommend our partners as they consistently deliver the caliber of cuisine our couples expect. Our six professional kitchens can accommodate virtually any culinary vision.
Standard packages include venue access from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM with music ending at 10:30 PM per county ordinance. Extended hours until 1:00 AM are available for an additional fee of $5,000/hour. Weekend packages include Friday rehearsal access.
The estate features a 10+ car garage and paved parking for 150+ vehicles. Professional valet service is included in our Signature package and available as an add-on for others. We partner with luxury shuttle services for guest transportation from area hotels.
All couples are required to provide a special event liability insurance policy with minimum coverage of $1 million naming Rose Howard Estate as additional insured. We can recommend insurance providers, and policies typically cost $150-300. This protects both you and the estate.
